FRIDAY 16 September

CISGF 2011 kicks off at 20:00 with a convivial evening of informal but planned entertainment by some of the players who are already be in Chanos. Before that, take a light meal at the cafe Mille et Une Choses and then walk over to the hall. We will serve wine and beer during the evening. If you want to play please contact Digby.

 

SATURDAY 17 September – Steel Guitar CONVENTION (09:00 to 18:00)

PLAY SESSIONS: Play sessions will be in 20 minute slots with 40 minutes for lunch. Amplification will be supplied and players only have to plug in their guitars. Make sure your backing tracks are in mp3 format or bring your own player and connecting cable.

JAM SESSIONS: After lunch there will be two rolling jam sessions - Acoustic outside Mille et Une Chose and Amplified at the Pradelle Cave. If you want to play in the jam please contact Digby.

European Steel Guitar Hall of Fame DINNER SHOW & INDUCTIONS (19:30 to 23:00)

The ESGHoF induction ceremony will be held after dinner, followed by a show. DRESS CODE IS SMART - PLEASE BRING A JACKET AND TIE. Dinner will start with aperitifs at 19:30.

 

SUNDAY 18 September – Steel Guitar CONVENTION (10:30 to 19:00)

The Sunday session will commence at 10:30. At 11:00 there will be a Hawaiian jam session in the Parish Hall

 

We will sing our farewell song - Now Is The Hour after lunch on Sunday. For words and music click:
